Introducing myself
Hi there, I’m Madushan Bandara, a web developer | Sysadmin | content writer who really enjoys building websites and diving into anything WordPress-related.
I also really like speed optimization. I started doing this in 2015, when WordPress had limited resources for growth.
I’ve done some freelance stuff on Fiverr and a few other sites. And I’ve built and sold a bunch of websites over the years, like Sitetut, Techexplan, BloggingNote, and a few other smaller projects.
Nowadays, I use Astro and Claude to build content-focused websites. But honestly, I’m not an expert in anything.
Site description
On this website, you’ll find various topics covering web development, hosting, performance, and other tutorials (I love sharing my problem-solving methods)
This blog does not contain any sponsored content or guest posts. I’m bored with seeing low-quality content, so I write and edit everything on this site.
I share only my own experiences in my recommendations so that you won’t come across any lousy providers or services here.
When I recommend products, I suggest only the ones I use myself and endorse reliable products and services.
To conclude
In my last job at an agency, I built, maintained, and optimized clients’ websites. That also included sysadmin. I regularly find ways to optimize and speed up WordPress. Today, you have options beyond WordPress: Cloudflare Pages (Emdash), Astro, Gatsby, and more. You can also get help from AI tools.
