7 Raptive Alternatives To Monetization (2026)

Looking for alternatives to Raptive? Here is a breakdown of some ad networks that are similar to Raptive that I have used over the years.

Raptive, formerly known as CafeMedia or Adthrive, offers a strong monetizing solution for quality websites. Big websites like AskPython, Epic Gardening, MacRumors, etc., use Raptive as their ad management platform.

Raptive is a premier Google MCM partner, delivering impressive RPMs for publishers through optimized ads, direct sales, and specialized partnerships.

Still, banner advertising remains the primary monetization method, but its revenue is expected to be minimal by 2026. AI has steadily lowered blog traffic. Traffic is the key to making ads work for you. Yet ads can still deliver revenue; I’ve done that.

You probably already know about Raptive, so I won’t go into detail. Still, your website should have original content that attracts both users and advertising partners.

There is good news, guys: Raptive recently introduced a new pageview requirement. No longer requires 100,000 monthly page views. Now, you’ll need 25K monthly page views to become a Raptive publisher. But if you do not meet these requirements or want to look at other ad platforms, here are some notable alternatives to Raptive.

1. Mediavine

Mediavine ad management

Mediavine is one of the most reputable ad management platforms among lifestyle publishers. Content creators join Mediavine for its higher RPMs.

Both Raptive and Mediavine are Premier Google partners. Mediavine monetizes many popular websites, like CookingWithNanaling, MomsLA, and NichePursuits. I think it’s an ideal alternative to Raptive, and you don’t need significant US traffic to get started.

The approval process: Mediavine is not an ad network for small publishers. To be eligible, your site must earn at least $5,000 in ad revenue per year from a reputable ad network. You also require quality content in a niche that suits you.

It’s unlikely to get approval if your content doesn’t meet quality standards, regardless of site traffic. However, Mediavine now has a separate ad service called Journey. You still require a good website with more than 1000 monthly sessions.

Indeed, Mediavine is among the top ad networks, but I don’t like their bloated features. I don’t want anything from them apart from ad management.

I don’t like the ad network to provide guidance/features on topics such as SEO, hosting, or other non-ad-related areas. But that’s what Mediavine and Ezoic don’t get. Instead of doing what they’re good at, they try to check the whole website.

Key Points for Mediavine:

  • Plenty of unnecessary features.
  • Various payment methods and a fair threshold.
  • A premier Google-certified advertising partner.
  • Connects with high-end advertising companies.
  • Ads take up a lot of space and make pages load more slowly
  • The approval process is rigorous, and the onboarding process takes 3 months.

2. MonetizeMore

MonetizeMore

MonetizeMore is an impressive ad technology platform that serves advertisements through customized features. Sites like Cartermatt and Will-Mixen use MonetizeMore.

They use Traffic Cop to detect and prevent invalid traffic from interacting with ad inventory. It helps prevent revenue loss and protects Google accounts.

You can increase revenue with their header bidding and automatic ad rotation. They also have advertisement partners, including Amazon, AppNexus, and Media.net.

How to get approval:

At this point, MonetizeMore does not accept publishers based on page views, unlike other advertising platforms. Instead, it targets publishers who generate notable revenue from another ad network. And publishers can join at three different stages:

  1. Starter: You’ll need at least $1,000 in monthly ad revenue.
  2. Professional: Applicants must have at least $10,000 in monthly ad revenue.
  3. Premium: Revenue must exceed $50,000 per month.

MonetizeMore may not be the strongest alternative to Raptive due to its criteria and lower RPM. It remains a solid choice as a certified ad management company. If you’re earning over $1000 from another ad network, you can join without US/UK traffic.

Key Points for MonetizeMore:

  • You’ll get dedicated support.
  • Publishers can’t join based on page views.
  • Multiple ad exchanges, ad servers, and SSPs.
  • There’s a 12-month contract and a 30-day notice period.
  • Modern ad management technology with robust analytics.
  • Compared to Raptive or Mediavine, MonetizeMore RPM isn’t as high.

3. Newor Media

Newor Media

Newor Media is another Google-certified ADX partner and a good ad platform for publishers of all types. Sites like EnglishCurrent use Newor Media. They use AI to help publishers earn more revenue and offer three kinds of ad monetization options:

  1. Elevate: The program is designed to give publishers access to the demand they need to grow, with no minimum pageview requirement.
  2. Catapult: You need at least 60,000 monthly page views from the US. The program provides dedicated support to help publishers increase revenue.
  3. Premier: It provides publishers with custom solutions and personalized service, but requires at least 400,000 U.S. page views per month.

NeworMedia does not require a minimum number of page views for its entry-level plan. However, sites must be in English, include a sidebar, comply with Google’s ad policies, and allow two ads.

The team will check your website and help set up ad management and performance right away. Perhaps Newor Media isn’t a suitable alternative to Raptive, but it offers publishers a net-30 payment period with PayPal, Payoneer, and wire transfers.

Key Points for Newor Media:

  • A flexible payment schedule.
  • You need to add tags to each page for each ad.
  • Monetization plans for small and big publishers.
  • Increasing impressions through companion ads.
  • Simple to use (an easy way to add ads with a plugin).
  • Earning potential isn’t as high as Raptive (ads aren’t disruptive).

4. Monumetric

Monumetric ad network

Monumetric is another popular ad network that serves publishers of all sizes. For my previous websites, I used Monu, which is better than relying on a single ad network.

While their RPM rates may not be as competitive as Raptive’s or similar platforms’, they use header bidding to increase revenue across multiple ad exchanges.

Monumetric offers four plan levels for sites of all sizes. Propel is designed for small to medium websites, but the downside is that it costs $99 for setup.

Manumetric costs $99 to set up

I’ve used many ad platforms, but Monu is the only one that charges for setup. You need to meet other requirements, such as having more than 10K visitors, particularly from the US, Canada, the UK, and other countries. They generally accept websites with “English” content. It’s good if your website uses an ad network, such as AdSense.

Your site should be hosted on WordPress or Blogger, include a sidebar, and feature at least 6 ads. In my experience, the Monumetric onboarding process can be relatively annoying, with lengthy setup procedures, discussions, and other similar tasks.

Of course, I like to manage things myself and don’t feel comfortable letting someone else control how my website is set up. If you choose to do things your way, this may not be a suitable alternative, as you must first speak with your representative.

Key Points for Monumetric:

  • Ads can change your website’s layout.
  • A verified Google Ad Manager partner.
  • Detailed dashboard to track performance.
  • A $99 setup fee and some annoying requirements.
  • Accepts small publishers with more than 10,000 page views.
  • Payouts take 65 days, and PayPal is the only payment method.

5. OptAd360

OptAd360 ad management company

OptAd360 is a reliable ad optimization company working with websites, mobile games, and apps. You can use it as an alternative to Raptive, which has multiple header bidding partners, including Magnite, PubMatic, Index Exchange, and others. They offer multiple ad formats and can be easily integrated into your website by adding a small tag. Their ads are minimally annoying; they sometimes cause blank spaces due to slow loading.

The approval process: A website/app must have at least 50,000 monthly page views and no risky content to qualify as a publisher. OptAd360 accepts websites that meet the criteria, but in some regions, publishers require at least 500,000 page views.

OptAd360 offers more payout options than Raptive and issues payments within 30 days, rather than 60. You can receive earnings via PayPal, Payoneer, or bank transfer. The minimum threshold is $50 or the equivalent in other currencies.

It is a modern ad tech company and works with sites and apps in multiple languages. It is a decent choice for EU audiences, but it does not quite match the performance of Mediavine or Raptive. According to many users, CPM rates are lower than expected.

Key Points for OptAd360:

  • Integrates easily with one tag.
  • Ads take a long time to load.
  • Comparatively low CPM rates.
  • Accepts websites in over 15 languages.
  • Multiple payout options and a low withdrawal threshold.

6. NitroPay

Nitro ad management platform

Nitro is an ad management platform specifically designed for gaming apps and websites. Although it focuses on gaming, it also features many other websites.

Popular websites such as RoyalRoad, LeekDuck, and PvPoke use Nitro to monetize. I’ve seen Nitro used by crypto-focused websites, so try it as a crypto ad network.

Nitro is a Google-certified ad platform that partners with OpenX, PubMatic, SOVRN, Magnite, and Sonobi. Using Nitro, publishers can place ads themselves with full control over where and how many banners they display. The key limitation is that they work with large websites, so you should have more than 100,000 monthly page views.

Compared to Raptive, Nitro ads load quickly and feature appealing designs. They use modern advertising technology, but still rely heavily on third-party scripts.

Animated ads in Nitro can slow down a website and negatively impact UX. Try using a reliable host and a caching plugin to reduce external requests. Plugins and CDNs can delay third-party scripts, but it does not always work. Nitro remains a good monetization option for medium to large entertainment websites and apps.

Key Points for Nitro:

  • Focused exclusively on gaming.
  • Outstream video ads can distract visitors.
  • Tech to recover ad blocks with better ads.
  • Multiple payment options with Net 7 payouts.
  • Pageview requirements make it hard for publishers to join.
  • Publishers can monetize gaming tools even without content.

7. AdPushup

AdPushup ad revenue optimization platform

AdPushup is a leading ad revenue optimization platform for large publishers. It offers essential features similar to Raptive’s, including optimal ad layout, mediation, ad-block recovery, and header bidding. AdPushup offers a wide range of ad formats and access to more than 50 premium advertising exchanges, including Google, Amazon, and OpenX. Popular websites, including GTmetrix.com, monetize using the platform.

An example of an AdPushup ad

AdPushup is easy to use for publishers, but it is not the right fit for everyone. Its conditions only match certain publishers. For example, you need at least $5,000 in monthly ad revenue to join AdPushup. In comparison, Raptive only requires 25,000 page views, making it more accessible to small publishers.

AdPushup minimum requirements
Minimum requirements

AdPushup issues Net-45 payments via wire transfer or PayPal with a $100 minimum payout. They also provide strong support to publishers, particularly those who lack experience or require assistance with setup.

Key Points for AdPushup:

  • It’s only for big websites
  • 50+ premier ad service providers
  • Provides AdBlock recovery technology
  • An agreement with demanding requirements
  • Don’t allow publishers to use other ad platforms
  • The layout optimizer allows you to run A/B tests on ad layouts.

Final Thoughts

Mediavine is what I would recommend if asked for a Raptive alternative. There are other close competitors I didn’t mention, like Ezoic, Setupad, and several others. Their tech might be more profitable than both, but Raptive and Mediavine are alike in many ways.

Websites often experience slower performance when using ad networks with multiple partners, as a single page may display ads from several ad exchanges.

There are plenty of ad management solutions, AKA publisher optimization platforms. Each one offers unique features. Some focus on specific industries, such as games or entertainment, while others prioritize user experience.

Prioritize user experience over monetization strategies, as advertising is not the only revenue stream. If you want to balance user experience with ads, aim to provide quality content and keep ads to a minimum. Affiliate marketing provides a better user experience and performance than traditional ads.
